With over 35 different sneaker styles, Veja’s co-founders, Sebastian Koop and Francois-Ghislain Morillion are deeply connected with how each sneaker is made. Each sneaker features fair-trade organic cotton other sustainable fair-trade materials. Farmer associations in Brazil and Peru produce each Veja sneaker. The organic cotton is harvested into the canvas, laces, and uppers of the design, while the wild rubber is utilized from rubber tappers in the Amazon to protect the Amazonian forest. Veja is committed to safeguarding its materials’ ecosystems.
